Verizon’s New FOX One Perk Makes Live Streaming Cheaper

Verizon’s New FOX One Perk Makes Live Streaming Cheaper
Verizon has added a new perk to its myPlan and myHome offerings: FOX One, Fox Corporation’s streaming service, available to eligible Verizon customers for just $15 per month. That price represents a discount off the standard retail rate and is positioned as another way Verizon says it is helping customers save on the streaming services  they want

: What you get with FOX One through Verizon -

The FOX One perk brings together live sports, news and entertainment in one app. Through the perk, subscribers can access FOX Sports (including FS1, FS2 and FOX Deportes), Big Ten Network programming, FOX News and FOX Business coverage, FOX network entertainment and local FOX stations — plus on-demand content — all under the FOX One umbrella. This makes it especially attractive for viewers who want sports and breaking-news coverage in one place.

: Who’s eligible and how much you save -

The $15/month price is available to customers on eligible Verizon mobile (myPlan) and home internet (myHome, including 5G Home, LTE Home and most Fios plans) plans. Verizon notes that the perk is available per eligible mobile line or home internet account, and customers must add it via the myVerizon app or Verizon.com. The deal typically represents roughly a $4.99 monthly saving versus buying FOX One at full retail through other channels.

:How to add and manage the perk -

Adding the FOX One perk is handled inside the myVerizon app or via Verizon’s website under Products & Plan Perks. Verizon customers who already subscribe directly to FOX One are advised to cancel their standalone subscription before activating the Verizon perk to avoid being double-billed. Some customers who bundle mobile and home internet plans may qualify for additional credits that further lower the effective monthly cost.

 : Why it matters -

For cord-cutters and sports fans, the Verizon perk simplifies access to a broad swath of FOX content while shaving a few dollars off the monthly bill. For Verizon, perks like this are a way to increase plan stickiness and differentiate its “myPlan” and “myHome” bundles in a crowded market. As always, customers should check the specific eligibility rules and terms (age, plan type exclusions and “one per line/account” limits) before signing up.
